Fermeture hivernale – Réouverture le 12 mars prochain avec Hanami

Hanami

‘Hanami’ means ‘to look at the flowers’ in Japanese, and refers more specifically to cherry blossoms.

In Japan, the arrival of spring announced the planting of rice. Farmers used to make offerings to the Gods to protect crops, and it was believed that the deities hid in cherry blossoms. From here holds the tradition of picnicking under the cherry trees.
